COWS IN THE SEA
❃ Roaming the shallow sea grass beds of the western Pacific Oceans, the dugong is a cousin of the manatee. The only difference is the dugong's dolphin-like fluke tail vs the manatee's paddle.
❃ Like the manatee, dugongs are referred to as sea cows because of how they feed on the sea grass. They use their cleft upper lips to uproot the grasses from the sea floor.
